Eleni Linas is a writer, former public school teacher and the child of a refugee. She lives in Chicago with her husband and loves to wander around Thessaloniki, Greece. Occasionally, she treks up a footpath to the Albanian border and sits with her ghosts in an abandoned village in the Grammos mountains. Eleni was a fiction contributor at Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference in 2022. She attended Aspen Summer Words in 2022 with support from the Aspen Institute and the GM Future Fiction Collective. She is a graduate of the 2019 Clarion UCSD Writers’ Workshop.
